I was dating a guy. It was very casual at first. I then found out he was married. He claimed his marriage was over and didn’t tell me because he wanted to live out first. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Months passed, nothing happened. He then said he was scared of publically announcing he had failed in his marriage. I told his wife because even though I told him to concentrate on his marriage I knew I would still sleep with him. I then found out I was pregnant and miscarried. He is all over the place. I’m not sure where that leaves us.

This is such a messy scenario and you need to stay away from him. It also seems like you have a of healing to do. Give yourself space from this guy, it’s becoming unhealthy.

Hey Oloni my boyfriend keeps telling me that i would be so much penger if i joined the gym. it’s now concerning me because he brings it up almost everytime we are on the phone or we speak. he himself is an active gym goer/ fitness enthusiast and i have what many would call a nice body i guess (round breasts, flat tummy / slim waist , big bottom, thick thighs) but naturally as a woman i have insecurities such as stretch marks, cellulite etc… I don’t want this to get me down and i’m not sure if my boyfriend is advising me from a place of love or control…. how could i approach a conversation with him to let him know i’m feeling this way? please help x

It really depends on his delivery… I’m not in your relationship so I can’t tell what place it’s coming from, but if I’m honest from what you’ve said, I think he just wants his girlfriend in the gym with him. I doubt it’s malicious, especially if you have a great body already. Talk to him about it if it is bothering you.

Hi Oloni, I am a 21 year old girl and I am in my first ever relationship with a girl. I have been with her for 6 months now and I really feel like I love her. The only thing is I feel like she is controlling me, she always brings up things I have done in the past and is obsessed with the idea i am going to leave her for a guy. She will bring up my ex boyfriend and ask me if I enjoyed sex with him? I have basically been living at her house for the last 2 months and when I go home to see my family she is constantly messaging me. She will take my phone off me and go through my messages and apps, even though I havent spoke to anyone like that since me and her got together. Am I over reacting or am I ignoring the warning signs of a controlling relationship?

You’re in a really controlling relationship. Your partner is also VERY insecure. If I’m honest I don’t see a conversation resolving this, because it’s literally gone past a ‘we need to have a chat babe.’ – The mistake made on your part was moving in with your girlfriend after a couple of months, move the heck out and get your space back so you can breathe.
She has a lot of issues she has to deal with herself before she can be with anyone. A relationship that hasn’t had a terrible history should not look like this after 6 months at all.
