Hi Oloni. I haven’t has sex for some years by choice and recently decided to get back into it with my new partner. It is the most painful thing. This has happened a few times now and we never get past one round because it’s so painful. I have no STI’s or vaginal infections what can I do to make sex more pleasurable? My partner says he understands but slyly I think he thinks I’m not attracted to him or he doesn’t turn me on because of some things he says in passing. 27. July 2015

Hey Oloni, I’m 17 and 11 weeks pregnant. After nights of crying I’ve decided to keep my baby. Two days ago I heard my parents talking in their room, my dad was telling my mum that i need to “get rid” of my pregnancy cus both of us cant be pregnant at the same time. Basically ive just found ouut that my mum is also with child . She has no idea i heard that convo, today she told me that I’m moving to Nigeria till i give birth and need to give the child up for adoption. I’m scared oloni i don’t have any family or many trust worthy friends to turn to. 27. July 2015

Oh wow! It sounds as though your mother & father do not want to deal with what they see as shame as you’ll both be having a child around the same time. First thing is first. If you haven’t, tell them you heard the conversation and discuss it. If leaving and giving your child up for adoption is not an option then speak up about it. No one can force you to give up another soul YOU created. You will need a lot of support, so I suggest you try & get as much info from your council as possible and see what help you can get in case things do not work out.
