Beauty Prep For Valentine’s Day

Oh Valentine’s Day is coming up and there’s a few things us ladies do to prepare for that hot date and maybe steamy night *wink*. Here at Simply Oloni we’ve come up with a few pointers to getting yourself looking luscious and sex bombed.

Get glowing and smooth 

The perfect way to make your skin look fabulous (face and body) is to use a good exfoliator, mask and moisturiser. Salt scrubs tend to really help the skin get back its natural glow and softness by getting rid of dead skin, which reveals a soft new layer of skin.

A mask (for the face) with ingredients such as mud or charcoal help to cleanse the skin of all impurities, which will leave it looking extremely clear and let’s face it who doesn’t want clear skin on a date? After all the scrubbing and the washing, your skin will definitely need some moisture. Body butters are usually very good with keeping the skin soft, supple and not to mention smelling extra good.

Body hair be gone

Looking like a mammoth on a Valentine’s date? I don’t think that’s any of our portions. There are a few places where hair should be tamed to perfection :

– Your armpits

– Your legs

– Your upper lip (that horrible shadow)

– Your eyebrows

– Your Kitty Kat

And anywhere else you think hair shouldn’t reside on your body. However you do it, whether it be waxing or shaving, just make sure your hair doesn’t cause disruption to the flow of your evening. This may also make you feel a lot more comfortable and also it’s very hygienic in some areas.

Nails. Nails. Nails. 

Now on to more of a finishing touch. Once your body is looking like you were made to live on Mount. Olympus, your nails must be done. A good pedi and mani will sort you out in no time and leave you with shiny, glossed fingers and toes.

Hair 

Nothing says I’m ready for a hot date like beautifully shiny and clean hair. Even if you haven’t got time for a complete hair wash, there are products such as dry shampoo which help to add volume and revive your hair to the 10th power. Hair oils help to give your hair a natural silky look which is needed to add moisture and make you look down right sexy.

So with all that said, you will now be ready to slip on that sexy outfit you’ve planned and have his jaw dropping.
