Simply Oloni Nominated in the Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards 2016
Recently it was announced that Simply Oloni had made the shortlist in the Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards and I am so happy and grateful. The news gets even better because it hasn’t just been one category, but.. Get this… THREE. Yes, it’s up for Best Sex and Relationships, Best Content of the Year and Best Use of Social Media.
Thank you to each and every person who nominated, you all literally have no idea how amazing that feels, especially after winning the Cosmo Blog Awards last year. This site has been such a great platform to explore sexuality and dating in society. It’s the furthest thing from your everyday blog, as it’s always full of content that makes you want to screen shot and place it in your group chat to discuss a amongst friends.
I’ve never seen my blog as just a place where I share entries on sex and relationships, but more of a brand and community for other women to pass through to share their own thoughts or sex and relationship dilemmas. Hence why I created Ask Oloni, one of the most looked at pages. I’ve still been working hard on other projects like coaching men and women privately, who are having dating issues via phone calls. If you’ve ever bought an eBook, been to an event or simply congratulated me for seeing my face on TV thank you!!
Simply Oloni to me has always been described as a woman’s bathroom if I’m completely honest. A woman’s bathroom in a club on a Friday or Saturday night, (where we all get along the most of course.) You have a girl who’s hogging the only long mirror topping up her lippy, talking to her best friend about a guy she fancies inside of the club. Adjacent to them are another group of girls outside a toilet cubicle complimenting each other’s outfit and hair. Then lastly you have that one girl crying about her ex, with a random stranger in front of her yelling ‘HE’S NOT WORTH IT’ – Simply Oloni has been that random stranger for many years, we’ve influenced many love decisions by the content posted on here or on social media and that’s why on November 3rd Simply Oloni deserves to be recognised.

3) University Tours!
Now for some strange reason I’ve had so many universities contact me and ask me to come down to host a fun filled sex and relationship debate. They actually want to hear me speak! Because of that I will be kicking off another ‘Simply Oloni Tour’ in a few weeks, invite me down if you’re cool.
When The Sun calls you a sexpert I think it might just be true. I had the chance to have a photoshoot with four other amazing sex experts for a very interesting feature where we shared some hot sex tips for relationships. I remember getting up bright and early to buy a few copies and showing my local shop keeper I was in the papers (lol). Read the online feature here:
Instead of hosting a mingling soiree this year we did something a bit more exclusive and discreet. A matchmaking service, where we introduced singles living in London to each other. Thinking about it now I might just do both in 2017!
6) HERGASM
My favourite part of 2016 has been the fact that I was able to launch a bunch of vibrators and sell them to you wonderful bunch. Allowing women to explore their sexuality alone or with someone for the first of hundreth time. Were you lucky enough to get your hands on it?

8) Ann Summers
I had the chance to go down to the Ann Summers HQ for a Facebook live stream called #AskOloni taken from my live dilemmas debate on social media.
