Wardrobe Plan For 2015
So the fashion year of 2014 is ending and there’s no time to waste when planning for the next year. As designers do, they always plan ahead for the next year and this is something that we should adopt in terms of our wardrobes and personal style. There are three things that we at Simply Oloni do to help us get ready for the first fashion season S/S 15′ and we shall share them with you.
Your Colour palette
Your colour palette for your wardrobe is the first key to planning for your 2015 fashion season. You’ll be buying most of your pieces in these few colours and this also makes it easier for you to not over spend and buy things that you don’t need. Now at Simply Oloni we like to encourage personal style so when choosing a colour palette you don’t have to go for just season and trending colours. Tailor it to suit your needs and look.
Identify key pieces
Firstly, pick out what pieces are key for the season you’re in and then secondly, is pick out what YOU need and what will suit YOU. There’s nothing worse than buying loads of key pieces and realising that most of them don’t suit you. Within every trend during a new season there will be 2/3 key garments that will suit you and look fierce – LOOK OUT FOR THESE.
Identify what you need, want and already have
This is probably one of our most important rules here at Simply Oloni. Always know what you need, so pieces that you must have to get your wardrobe together are in trend (usually key pieces). Always know what you want, this is usually pieces that you’ve seen and really like the look of but don’t necessarily need. The reason why they need to be known and identified as a want is so you don’t go out and buy them as they are not NEEDED. Lastly, always know what you have. Do a big organisation or spring clean of your clothes for the the next trend, this way you know what you already have and don’t need to go back out and buy the exact same thing. Always check before you buy.
And with these tips you’ll definitely be ready for 2015’s fashion year.
