Trend Colour | Lilac

We’ve hit the month of April and spring is here! Literally. As we all know, there has to be a trending colour and this year it’s Lilac. It adds edge but with a delicate twist, if you want to make a statement, lilac will surely be the colour to do so.

Designers such as Chanel and Christopher Kane incorporated the colour into their S/S 15’ runways. It’s a refreshing colour and very feminine but not too over the top girly.

Wearing a colour such as lilac is pretty simple. You can either go for a co-ord and dress completely in the colour, which will make you stand out (in a very good way of course) or you can pick out a staple piece in the colour, such as a bomber jacket, culottes or backpack.

Whatever you do have fun with this season’s spring colour trend and experiment with it as much as you like. Spring is about new beginnings, may as well start with the trend colour.
