Looks Perfect For Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s day gives us an opportunity to dress up for our loved one, or if you are going somewhere special. Simply Oloni are giving readers little tips and tricks to make our makeup looks that little bit extra special for the 14th.

Satin-Finish lipstick, some matte and overly glossy lipsticks can be too much. A satin lipstick will give the perfect finish, subtle but won’t go un-noticed. Using a brush to apply helps build up the colour, satin lipsticks can be very hydrating too, so you’ve got that extra added moisture.

The Smokey eye – a classic look, and so easy to achieve. Buying a ‘smokey eye’ set works well but getting out your favourite dark eye shadow and blending into the outer corners of your eye can work amazingly too.

Metallic Smokey eye – If you are wanting something a little bit different, a metallic smokey eye is perfect. Using a copper eye shadow to create the smokey look is great for green or hazel eyes and will shine under any light.

Light pink blush – can compliment lighter skin tones and add a little colour, it can give you a fresh look like you’ve walked in from a winter walk. For darker skin tone, a bronze blush or bronzer can work well. Giving a sun kissed look, even if it’s only February.

Pastel eyes – Using a little bit of colour such as a lilac can make our eyes look brighter opting for a silky texture can make the look effortless.

Nude lip – A light lip colour is perfect for valentines, its simple yet elegant.

False Lashes – Lashes are made effortless, rather than getting extensions using a strip lash or individual lashes can widen the eyes and intensify any eye makeup look.
