2015 Fashion Trends
So it’s a new year, which means brand new trends are made, some are making a comeback and others are just simply here to stay. At Simply Oloni we are here to break it all down for you.
Monochrome
When does monochrome ever go out of fashion and not become a trend. Being that the colours are complete opposites of each other, they work well and create a nice contrast of light and dark. They help to break each other apart and make the simplest of outfits look amazing.

Flower Power
Flower prints. When it’s the new year when do flowers never become a trend in the new year. This year is all about bold prints as seen on the runways of Michael Kors, Valentino and Marni S/S 15’. We all know that floral prints can take over an outfit if not done correctly, so try using blocks of other colours to up the print.

Suede
Suede is quite an unusual fabric to have as a new trend with the upcoming seasons ahead. Mostly worn during winter to keep us all nice and warm, suede has now become a S/S 15’ must have. However, for the spring season we are seeing a lot of light suede dresses in ethereal pastel and neutral tones.

Off The Shoulder
At Simply Oloni, we have noticed that showing skin has become a major thing within womenswear (crop tops). But now there is the off the shoulder dress which, we see as a demure and very classy. Off the shoulder dresses show off a very delicate piece of skin on the female body and it is also one of the most flattering parts on the female body. This trend will surely catch on as the weather gets warmer.

The lingering Silhouette
In love with this trend and its not that wearable yet. Long tunic like tops teamed with a flowing skirt or flared/wide leg trousers are literally everything. This silhouette gives the essence of a fish tail which helps to make us look longer and also adds a touch of elegance to a normal day.

These are just a few trends for the upcoming S/S 15 season and at Simply Oloni we cannot wait for the rest to follow.
