Urban Decay Make Up Setting Spray

Make up setting sprays are an essential everyday product needed to achieve a flawless finish, they are used to refresh and set make up. Great sprays will set make up, keep make up from smudging, give a vibrant and glowing finish and be brilliant at making your beat face last longer.

I have extremely dry skin so anything liquid is perfect for my face. Urban Decay do a range of setting sprays each tailored to a specific skin type, I use the ‘Chill make up setting spray’ which has been designed for dry skin its described as a cooling and hydrating spray that is oil free and contains temperature control technology.

I try to use a minimal amount of powder products in my make up routine but even so this setting spray takes away the powdery finish which is perfect especially for allowing your highlighting powder to blend into your skin and not have a harsh powder finish.

The ‘Chill’ feature of this spray is quite amazing, Urban Decay states that the spray temperature control technology chills the surface of your make up to help it stay for longer. When I spray this I can actually feel it freezing my face. It actually does what it says on the tin. Although I have dry skin I have friends with extremely oily skin and they swear by Urban Decays setting spray. Priced at £21 it may seem pricey but it is worth it and it lasts a long time even with frequent use. It’s a needed for everyone’s make up collection!

This spray cannot be compared to MAC’s Prep + Prime Fix+ spray as I don’t believe the spray to be a setting spray but rather a refreshing spray that can also be used to finish a make up look but doesn’t actually set make up or have long lasting technology.
