Christmas Outfit Do’s

It’s that time of the year again. Spending time with your family, opening presents and most importantly stuffing your face with a dinner that was made for Queens. But what do you wear? Well it all depends on the environment you’re in. I’m going to give you my Christmas clothing Rules.

1. Comfort

On Christmas you will be sitting inside curled up with many people or maybe someone special, you have to wear something that makes you feel really comfortable, especially on the bottom region. As we all know Christmas comes with a massive feast and as much as we protest that we aren’t eating a lot and one plate will be fine, this promise to ourselves usually gets thrown out by the second or maybe third cheeky plate.

Opt for some bottoms that stretch and expand with your ever growing food baby. Following the sports luxe trend and going for some stylish joggers or maybe go for a knitted skirt. This will also help to disguise your temporary baby bump until it goes down.

2. Spread Christmas Cheer

I love a good Christmas themed clothing piece (only on Christmas that is). Christmas jumpers are so everything and in trend obviously, (if you haven’t read my Christmas jumper article click here). However, if you didn’t want to go for the obvious then try some quirky accessories such as a headband with reindeer ears, a santa or elf hat or maybe even a pair of sparkly earrings that light up every now and then. Whatever you add just make it fun and jolly.

3. Keep Warm

The whole point of being indoors, is to be nice and cosy and what better way to that than being smothered in a big, warm knitted jumper. Oversized things are just on trend anyway so a massive jumper is essential. There are so many different types of knits that you’re bound to find one that you really like. Plus who wants to stay looking cute while dealing with a round belly? I do.

So those are 3 of my outfit rules when it comes to Christmas and all the fun it brings.
